Dr Yulisha Byrow
Yulisha Byrow is a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the Refugee Trauma and Recovery Program. She completed her BA (Hons) in 2011 and her PhD in Psychology in 2016 at the Centre for Emotional Health, Macquarie University. Her postgraduate research focused on the psychological and cognitive mechanisms that can influence treatment outcome for individuals with Social Anxiety Disorder. She has worked and published extensively in the fields of child and adult mental health. Yulisha’s current program of research focuses on identifying psychological mechanisms contributing to the mental health and psychosocial adaptation of refugees during resettlement.
