2019 Paediatric Refugee Health Conference

The Paediatric Refugee Health Conference is a one day event aimed at GP’s, health professionals, NGO caseworkers and anyone interested in refugee and asylum seeker health issues. Taking place on Friday 23 August 2019, at The Westmead Children’s Hospital, this conference will review the history of immigration detention from the 1970s to the Medevac Bill, discuss advocacy from the perspectives of health, sport and politics, and bring attention to the intersection between law and health.
